The 40th Four State Farm Show is this weekend, and exhibitors will have over 25 acres of agricultural products and services on display.

In addition to exhibits, attendees will have the opportunity to watch and participate in daily water well demonstrations by Double J Energy of Mindenmines, Mo.

Double J Energy will have a Schramm T450 drill rig east of the hay demonstration field and will be drilling at 10 a.m., 12 p.m. and after the hay demonstrations each day.

The Four State Farm Show Hay Demonstration will feature a range of hay equipment for attendees to see in action. The equipment will include balers, mowers, rakes and bale handling equipment.

The hay demonstrations will take place each day at 1 p.m.

Farm Show visitors will have the opportunity to take shuttle wagons from the showgrounds to the hay field. Shuttle wagons will be at the Morton building at the south end of the center aisle at 12:30 p.m. each day of the show.

While watching some of the latest equipment at work, any visitors at the hay demonstrations will have the chance to win a $500 Four State Farm Show Shopping Spree.  The drawing will take place each day, and you must be present to win.

The winner will be able to use the Four State Farm Show Shopping Spree towards any purchase of equipment, parts or service with hay demonstration participants.

Also, the Four State Farm Show will feature its Lawn Mower Test Driving Range once again. The test driving range allows those attending the Farm Show to check out and test ride a variety of lawn mowers.

Participants in the demonstration must be 18 years of age or older and have permission from a participating Farm Show exhibitor.

Some of the lawn mowers available to test include Grasshopper, John Deere and Altoz Mowers.

Show hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, July 18 and 19 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 20. The Four State Farm Show grounds are located south of Pittsburg, Kan., to the junction of highways 400, 69 and K-171, then ½ mile east.
