The Four State Farm Show
Held each July, the Four State Farm Show brings thousands of farmers and ranchers to a 300-acre farm near Pittsburg, Kan., for three days of agricultural product displays and equipment demonstrations. With approximately 700 exhibits, the event features all of the major lines of farm machinery and equipment as well as innovative products from agribusiness firms across the country.
Taking advantage of the farm setting, the show gets a lot of attention for its action demonstrations. Demonstrations of haying equipment are held each year along with presentations on GPS-related tools, spraying equipment or other demonstrations. Other features include a lawn mower test driving range and a display of antique farm equipment.
The Four State Farm Show is also home to Kansas State University's Roundup Ready Soybean Variety Performance Test. The Four State Farm Show is an established, major event which draws an ever-widening audience each year.
Dates for the 2008 Four State Farm Show are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 18, 19, & 20.
