Another big weekend at the Four State Farm Show
If it had to do with agriculture in the four-states it was at the 34th edition of the Four State Farm Show held last weekend near Pittsburg, Kansas.
Over 20,000 people recently gathered to take part in the area’s largest display of farm and ranch equipment.
Some were there to look and others to buy, but everyone that attended the Farm Show got a glimpse of all the latest in agricultural equipment and technology.
In appreciation to all the visitors at the Show the folks at Farm Talk made one visitor feel very lucky by giving away a choice of several 4-wheelers and utility vehicles.
The lucky winner of the drawing at the end of the show on Sunday was Mike K. Haas of Madison, Kan.
Haas selected the John Deere TS 4x2 Gator which was given away by Farm Talk and area John Deere dealers.
Other dealers participating in the 2008 Four State Farm Show Four Wheeler or Utility Vehicle Give-Away were S&H Farm Supply, Lockwood, Mo., Rogersville, Mo., and Joplin, Mo., Hobbytime Motorsports, Bolivar, Mo., Pittsburg Yamaha, Pittsburg, Kan., Smith’s Cycle Center, Pittsburg, Kan., Yeoman’s Design and Manufacturing, Big Cabin, Okla.
Matthew Bauer from Pleasanton, Kan., was the winner of Farm Talk’s kid’s drawing.
The 35th edition of the Four State Farm Show is scheduled for July 17, 18 and 19.
However, before another year rolls around, Farm Talk is already focusing on the Ozark Fall Farmfest which will be held October 3, 4 and 5 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Mo.
