Published July 17, 2008 09:55 am - With 25 acres of farm and ranch products and equipment demonstrations, Four State Farm Show visitors will see the very latest in agricultural technology.

Agricultural displays featured at this year's Four State Farm Show

What would it be like if there was a shopping mall designed specifically for farmers and ranchers?

A place where producers could look at all the latest equipment available from tractors to combines, balers to planters, as well as livestock equipment and more.

Well, the wondering is over. That is exactly what the Four State Farm Show will have to offer farmers and ranchers.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 18, 19 and 20 just south of Pittsburg, Kan., the Four State Farm Show will put more than 700 agricultural exhibits on display, giving agricultural producers a golden opportunity to shop and compare.

With 25 acres of farm and ranch products and equipment demonstrations, Four State Farm Show visitors will see the very latest in agricultural technology.

For 34 years, the area’s largest agricultural event has been geared for farms big and small and everything in between and that tradition will continue this weekend.

Farm equipment, precision farming tools, seed, feed, agrichemicals, livestock, farm buildings, grain and feed bins, livestock handling equipment, tires, tools, trailers—if it’s used on a farm or ranch, chances are, it will be at the Four State Farm Show.

Hay

Demonstrations

Forage producers will have a unique opportunity to compare a wide range of big round balers, mowers, rakes and other bale handling equipment operating under field conditions.

Haying demonstrations will be held at 1 p.m. each afternoon.

Precision Farming

The Farm Show will also include a Precision Farming test driving range where producers can get some in-cab experience with auto-steer and GPS-related technology.

Riding Mower Test Driving

The popular Riding Lawn Mower Test Driving Range will also be open throughout the Farm Show, giving area farm and ranch families the opportunity to check out a wide range of makes and models.
