Adair horse team tops nat’l FFA competition


Parsons, Kansas — The Adair, Okla., FFA Horse Evaluation team recently competed in the 2013 National FFA Horse Evaluation Career Development Event in Louisville, Ky.

Adair FFA members competed against 43 other state teams to win the National FFA Contest.

Team results included  Wyatt Smith being named the contest’s High Individual and receiving a $2,000 cash award.

Blaine Mibb, was the seventh High Individual and received a $1,400 cash award.

Shelby White and Hunter Parsons, as well as the chapter, also received a $1,000 cash award.

Adair FFA Chapter horse evaluation team members included  Hunter Parsons, Shelby White, Blaine Mibb, and Wyatt Smith.

FFA Advisors at Adair are Devin DeLozier and Shane Johnson.
