Coltrain joins Wildcat Extension District

Parsons, Kansas — Josh Coltrain has joined the Wildcat Extension District as an agriculture and natural resources agent.

The Kansas State University graduate will be located at the Crawford County office in Girard, Kan.

Previously, Coltrain taught a variety of agronomy-related classes at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kan., as well as coaching the crops and soils judging team.

At K-State, he earned bachelors and masters degrees in agronomy as well as working at the Foundation Seed Farm as well as in K-State’s soybean and wheat breeding programs.

Coltrain and his wife, Tabetha, have five children.
