Global Agriculture Symposium slated for January 24 in Concordia, Mo.

Parsons, Kansas — The Sante Fe Agrileaders will host the third annual Global Agriculture Symposium on January 24, 2013. This one day event will be held at the Concordia Community Center in Concordia, Missouri.

The symposium brings industry leading technology and information to producers and agribusinessmen. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with industry leaders on global grain topics impacting their operations.

Keynote speaker will be Don Borgman, Director of Industry Relations with John Deere. Current topics led by experts in the field are scheduled, including Life after the Drought and Global Transportation’s Effect on US Markets. Certified Crop Advisor credit is available.

Cost of the symposium is $40 to nonmembers and $35 to members of Sante Fe Agrileaders or Missouri Young Farmer/Young Farm-wives.

The Santa Fe Agri-Leaders is a Missouri Young Farmer/Young Farm Wives chapter promoting Adult Education and Supporting Agricultural Youth Primarily in the Santa Fe School District, Fostering Personal and Professional Achievement as well as Agricultural Leadership. Our goals are Education, Support, and Social. Through hosting this Global Agriculture Symposium, we strive to expand our reach outside of the Santa Fe School District, and continue our pursuit of spreading Adult Education to producers and Agriculture professionals alike.
